Audio Production

Hearing, Telling, Sensing

Good sound is no accident – it's the result of trained ears and technical precision. The focus is on narrative audio formats for the classical music world: podcasts, digital concert introductions and other formats that put music into words and invite listeners into a world of their own. Beyond that, recordings and mixes for chamber music are produced with the same commitment to sound quality and authenticity.

Klassik Doppio

In “Klassik Doppio,” opera singer Aeneas Humm welcomes guests from the world of art and culture to a double treat: honest conversations about music and life—always accompanied by good coffee and a touch of humor. This closeness and informality are deliberate: they create the setting for conversations that are more honest and personal than anything a studio setting could allow.

The challenge is obvious: a living room is not a recording studio. Room acoustics, ambient noise, and changing recording conditions place high demands on audio production. Thanks to careful technical preparation, targeted post-production and a trained ear for sound quality, the end result nevertheless retains the cosy character of the format – without compromising on the listening experience.

Der Klassikerklärer

"Der Klassikerklärer" is a podcast by RONDO Magazine that aims to make classical music accessible to everyone. Host Dariusz Szymanski takes his listeners on a journey through symphonies, concertos and operas – with wit, depth and an unerring sense for what matters.

Audio production for a podcast of this quality demands a lot: every episode has to convince sonically, so that the care put into the content actually comes through in the listening. Recording and post-production are approached with the goal that voice and music carry equal weight. The podcast is made possible completely ad-free through the support of a loyal community – a funding model that shows just how much trust this format has earned.

C. Debussy: „Clair de lune“ / „Feuilles mortes“

What does an artist seek? Inner voices. He finds them in his dream world. It sounds as whimsical as any mathematics. Leaves fall; the moon shines; piano music from an advertisement plays.

Notenköpfe

"Notenköpfe" is RONDO Magazine's interview podcast – and after more than 70 episodes, one of the most established conversation platforms in the German-speaking classical music world. Guests include conductors, soloists, ensembles, cultural managers and anyone with something to say about a life devoted to music – in the studio, remotely or directly on location.

Recording situations shift with each guest and each set of circumstances. This flexibility repeatedly poses new challenges for recording and post-production, so that every episode ultimately delivers the same level of sound quality.
